Wellbeing For Longer in Glasgow Festive Fund

Volunteers making Christmas dinner

On behalf of Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP), Impact Funding Partners were delighted to manage the Wellbeing for Longer in Glasgow Festive Fund in December 2019.

£62,500 was made available to 56 local organisations benefiting nearly 4000 people across Glasgow City. The funding enabled them to support people who were most at risk of isolation and loneliness over the festive period. The fund was available to organisations currently supporting the residents of Glasgow City and who were delivering a service to, or had previously worked with the intended beneficiary group(s).

Priority was given to organisations working with individuals most at risk of social isolation and loneliness. For example, older people, carers, minority ethnic people, disabled people, homeless people, lone parents, adults with additional support needs and people with long term health conditions.

“On behalf of our organisation and our beneficiaries, we would like express our heartfelt gratitude for making a difference in our community through your funding. We truly are grateful and look forward to working with you in the future.”

“Our sincere appreciation goes to GHSCP and Impact Funding Partners for making this event a reality.”

“We couldn't have had this if it wasn't for the funding that you gave us. We greatly appreciate it and can't thank you enough.”
