Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund 2021

In 2021 52 projects received funding from the Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund. Grants totalling £52,000 allowed a hugely diverse range of projects to deliver services all over Scotland, to support people at risk of social isolation, loneliness or reduced wellbeing.

In total 26 Scottish Council areas received funding with activities including health walks, lunch clubs, conversation cafes, games and activities, cooking classes, knitting, quilting and crafts, garden parties, general exercises, walking football and dancing. Activities were planned carefully in order to comply with COVID 19 restrictions and took place between the 24th of May 2021 and the 27th of August 2021.
