New Fund: Hate Crime Security Fund for Places of Worship
Impact Funding Partners has launched a new fund aimed at reducing the vulnerability to hate crime places of worship across Scotland face.
The £500,000 Hate Crime Security Fund for Places of Worship has been developed in partnership with the Scottish Government and Police Scotland and has been made available for the provision of capital security measures and improvements. These measure are intended to reduce the risk of hate crime to places of worship in Scotland and provide reassurance for faith communities who worship at them.
Applications are open now, and are welcomed from individual places of worship of all faiths who can demonstrate their vulnerability to hate crime, whether or not a crime has been committed or reported to the police.
