Fairer Scotland Engagement Fund

In June 2015, The Scottish Government launched a national conversation on what Fairer Scotland would look like in 2030 and the steps that should be taken to make this vision a reality.

Impact Funding Partners, then Voluntary Action Fund, were approached by The Scottish Government to manage the small Engagement Fund to target local community groups from across Scotland to engage in this conversation.

The purpose of the fund was to help community groups run an event or engagement activity to enable people to express their views on how to create a Fairer Scotland and what matters to them. Short reports from each event were then sent to the Scottish Government.

£30,000 was made available by The Scottish Government with 89 engagement projects being supported through this fund.
